I want to run multiple cars at the same time
Since it uses the 2.4GHz band, multiple units can be operated simultaneously without interference.
Please pair each device in turn.
If pairing is not successful, wait about 30 seconds and then try again.

There is a strange noise like "beep" or "poo" when driving
The high-pitched sounds such as "beep" or "poop" that occur while driving are due to PWM control.
Especially at low speeds, short pulses are sent at long intervals, making high tones stand out.
To put it in perspective, it's like the sound of a car engine; it always occurs.
[C74] When I turn the steering wheel and operate the throttle, there is a rattle.
The "maximum" setting of the turning angle is based on customization using metal parts.
If you drive with the standard suspension, it will rattle and make a strange noise like "cranky".
The increased load could cause the propeller shaft to come off.
If you want to run it without customization,
Press the ST.EP button and reset the steering angle to "small".
[C74] One side of the tire lifts off the ground when turning
Because the differential lock is used to emphasize off-road performance,
When turning, one side of the tire may lift off the ground.
Due to structural specifications, it is not possible to completely prevent this behavior,
This can be reduced to some extent by pressing the steering EP button to set the turning angle to small.
I want to know the driving time
The running time is about 30 minutes. It takes about 4 hours to fully charge.
Charging is possible from a PC, but since the power supply is unstable, there is a risk of shortening the battery life.
You can also charge the device using a 1A plug sold at 100 yen shops, but please note that this will take longer.
Regarding the charging environment, the recommended standard is up to 5V 2.0A.
Please note that if you charge using a plug with a current of 2.0A or more, it may damage the charging cable, battery, or in the worst case scenario, even the circuit board.
It can only run for about 5 minutes from a fully charged state, and it takes about 10 minutes to fully charge from a completely discharged state, etc.
If your battery life is extremely short or if it charges quickly, the battery may be faulty.

What is the speed per hour?
The D12 is about 12km/h.
The C series (C14, C24, C24-1, C34) has a maximum speed of approximately 7km/h.

Regarding the receiver/ESC (January 2022)
There have been changes to the specifications of the receiver/ESC for the C14, C24, C24-1, and C34 in order to improve quality.
■Changes : The system will be gradually replaced with a new type of receiver and ESC.
There is no functional difference.
■How to distinguish the new type・New type: Circuit board with model number "XX-412RR" printed on it ・Current type: Circuit board with model number "XX-162RR" printed on it

The tire is warped and won't go straight.
Some distortion is within the specifications.
The C34 in particular is prone to distortion due to the characteristics of the tire shape.
To a certain extent this will be within the range of specifications, but if it significantly impedes driving, please contact customer support and attach a video of the driving session and images of the tires.

[C34] The door is bent
There are cases where the door is warped on the C34.
This is the structural specification.
It is possible to straighten the hair by hand to some extent by using hot air from a hair dryer.
If it interests you, please give it a try.

I want to know how long it takes to fully charge
It takes about 4 hours to fully charge.

Regarding battery storage and maintenance, even if you will not be using the battery for a long period of time, please charge and discharge it regularly.
When storing the battery for a long period of time, it is best to have the battery charge at around 50-60%. Please do not leave the battery fully charged or completely discharged for a long period of time.
*The battery may deteriorate significantly.
*To prevent deterioration, please use it about once a month.
Please rest assured that WPL JAPAN products are designed with overcharge protection in place for batteries and charging devices in accordance with PSE standards.
*We have received inquiries from customers who have purchased parallel imported products, who may have thought that we (WPL JAPAN) are the manufacturer of WPL products, saying that they "heard a popping sound" or "there was a burning smell coming from the battery area." However, we have no involvement with parallel imported products (regular WPL products) and they are outside of our jurisdiction. I want to know the difference between parallel imports
Our products (WPL JAPAN) have been independently certified with the Technical Conformity Mark and have passed the Radio Law. Similarly, the battery has also been certified with the PSE Mark. Parallel imports do not have the Technical Conformity Mark, so they are in violation of the Radio Law and cannot be used in Japan.
As we are not involved in the manufacture or sale of parallel imports, customer support is also outside the scope of our coverage. If the product you have is not "WPL JAPAN" but a parallel import, please be sure to contact the retailer from which you purchased it.
*We do wholesale some radio control shops directly, but generally all WPL products sold outside our direct stores are parallel imports.
\*WPL JAPAN products are designed with overcharge protection for batteries and charging devices based on the PSE mark. In addition, charging is automatically stopped after a full charge, so please rest assured.
It bends when reversing
Regarding the C series, due to its structure, it will turn to some extent when reversing. This is a specification, so we ask for your understanding.

When the steering wheel is turned, the car floats.
The following operations are subject to the steering mechanism specifications.
・Turn the steering wheel to the right: The body sinks. ・Turn the steering wheel to the left: The body floats.
This can be improved by using the [ Axle Servo Mount Kit] sold by our company.
The following are the benefits of implementation.
-Improved one-sided sinking -Equalized left and right turning angles (further improved by adjusting the EPA settings on the radio)
- Lower center of gravity - Improved bump-in/bump-out (the phenomenon where the steering turns naturally as the suspension sinks)

The turning radius is different on the left and right
For standard vehicle bodies, this is a structural specification.
If you want to make the cutting angles closer to uniform,
Axle servo mount , turbo racing transmitter/receiver , etc.
It will be necessary to replace the mechanism so that the EPA can be set separately for the left and right sides.
The benefits of this introduction are as follows:

When upgrading the motor
The receiver/ESC included with the RTR is designed to be used in combination with a standard gearbox (180 size motor).
Therefore, when combined with a 370 motor (such as a 2-speed transmission gearbox), it may not be able to achieve its full performance, although this will depend on the vehicle weight and load.
Since the ESC is under greater load than expected, we recommend replacing it with an ESC that is compatible with a 370 size motor.

I can't steer, move forward or backward even when I operate the transmitter.
If you are unable to steer or move forward or backward, there are several possible causes. Please try the following.
Is pairing possible?
First, check whether pairing is possible. If pairing is not possible, there may be a problem with the transmitter (radio control) or the receiving board.
- Check whether the vehicle's power is turned on (headlights flashing)
- Check whether the transmitter is turned on (the light will flash)
- Turn the vehicle's power OFF then ON, then turn on the transmitter to see if pairing is possible → Both the headlights and transmitter will be lit.
If you are unable to pair, or if you have paired but are unable to move forward, backward or steer, and the motor is not working at all, please contact us using the inquiry form.
The vehicle can be steered (turned left and right), but cannot move forward or backward.
This may be due to a malfunction or failure of the motor gearbox or a faulty throttle in the transmitter.

Unable to move forward or backward
Motor failure, gear damage in the gearbox,
There may be a problem with the transmitter throttle.
-The motor runs when the transmitter throttle trigger is operated.
- If the vehicle is flipped upside down and there is no load, it will move forward and backward.
If the above applies, the gear and shaft inside the gearbox may not be sufficiently crimped.

If the above does not apply and the motor does not work at all, there may be a problem with the motor, transmitter, or receiving board.

Unable to steer left or right
I think it's a servo problem.
If this issue occurs during the first run, it may be a manufacturing defect, so please contact us using the inquiry form.
If the servo was working properly upon arrival, it is possible that it was damaged by driving under heavy load.

Unable to steer left or right

[Cause and Response]
Even when I operate the switch on the vehicle, the headlights do not appear to turn on, and the transmitter light remains flashing, so it is possible that the vehicle is not receiving power for some reason.
[Reconfirmation]
① Is the driving battery fully charged? ② When installing the driving battery, is the connector securely connected? - Connect it firmly until the tabs snap into place. ③ First, turn on the transmitter power and check that the light is flashing. ④ Turn on the vehicle power and check that the headlights of the transmitter and vehicle change from flashing to lit.
→ After checking the above, the issue was resolved.
If the problem is not resolved:

The power turns off immediately after being turned on
The vehicle battery is not charging properly and the remaining charge is insufficient.
Possible causes include insufficient battery charge in the transmitter or a faulty circuit board.
■When charging the battery, the USB charger lamp may light up in a pattern other than the one listed below.
The battery or the charger, or both, may be faulty.
Charging: Green light/flashing, red light/on Charging: Green light/on, red light/on (or only charging: green light/on)
■The pairing suddenly ends.
The transmitter battery may not have enough power remaining.
If it is rechargeable, make sure it is fully charged, if not try replacing it with a new battery.
If the above two points do not apply, there may be some kind of problem with the board.

The transmitter (radio control unit) is a precision instrument and is vulnerable to water and shocks.

Headlights do not turn on even when the vehicle is turned on/Transmitter light keeps flashing

[WPL] Pairing method (C64 and later models, D series)
1. Turn on the vehicle power.
Connect a charged battery to the vehicle and turn the vehicle on.
→ The headlights will flash.
2. Turn on the radio control (transmitter).
Insert the battery and turn the power on.
→ The transmitter's LED will flash.
3. Perform steering operations.
Turn the steering wheel (right or left) using the transmitter.
→ When pairing is complete, the transmitter's LED will turn on and the vehicle's headlights will also light up.
[WPL] About rattling when steering
Due to the structure of the stock axle, rattling may occur when steering. This tendency becomes stronger especially as the turning angle becomes larger.
■ About the steering mode of the radio control (transmitter)
The radio control has two steering mode settings: [MIN] and [MAX].
-For vehicles in normal condition, we recommend using the **【MIN】 mode (small turning angle mode).
- If you drive with the [MAX] setting, there may be rattling or the drive may stop when turning the steering wheel sharply forward or backward.
・[MAX] is intended for customized vehicles that incorporate metal upgrade parts sets, etc. If you want to widen the turning angle after customization, please use the [MAX] setting while taking care of rattling during driving.

■ What to do if rattling occurs even with the [MIN] setting
The following measures may help relieve symptoms:
・Steering angle adjustment
The rattle can sometimes be reduced by moving the linkage connected to the servo horn up one level and reducing the turning angle.
[WPL] If the tires do not straighten even after trim adjustment
Please try resetting the servo horn (centering the servo).
■ Servo centering procedure
1. Turn on the transmitter and vehicle and perform pairing.
2.Remove the servo horn.
Remove the servo horn fixing screw and servo horn from the servo.
3. Set the trim adjustment dial to the center position.
4. Reinstall the servo horn.
Without touching the trim adjustment, align the tires in a straight line and reinstall and secure the servo horn.
[WPL] No longer moves forward or backward
If the battery is charging normally and there are no loose or detached drive parts or broken wiring, the following may be the cause.
Main causes
- Damage to the circuit board
The forward/reverse signals may not be being received correctly.
・Motor/gearbox malfunction
The freewheeling may be caused by a missing or chipped gear in the gearbox.
・Propo (transmitter) malfunction
The forward and reverse signals may not be transmitted properly.
■ About the response
Depending on the cause, please check the parts for the corresponding vehicle model and consider replacing them if necessary.

[D12, D14] If the battery does not appear to be inserted
The running battery is enclosed inside the "battery case" at the rear of the vehicle.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but please check the inside of the battery case again.

[D12] Compatible receivers and ESCs (circuit boards)
The D12 will undergo specification changes in October 2023.
The compatible radio control will vary depending on the shipping date of your vehicle.
■For shipments made before October 2023
・The compatible radio control is currently out of stock.
・You will be able to operate it again by using the following "circuit board" and "transmitter" set.
・WPL JAPAN dedicated receiver and ESC board (for D42, D12, D14 / compatible from October 2023 onwards)
・WPL JAPAN Jimny C74 1st batch compatible radio control
*Although the product name is for Jimny, it is also compatible with the above board.
■For products shipped after October 2023, only the above-mentioned radio controls can be used.

When shipped, it is paired (bound) to the included bicycle.
If you have replaced the transmitter, you will need to re-bind the transmitter. Please try the following procedure.
■ Binding (rebinding) procedure
1. While pressing the "BIND button" on the transmitter, turn it on.
⇒ The transmitter will automatically start searching for nearby receiver signals and the indicator light will flash twice repeatedly.
2. Turn on the power on the vehicle (receiver).
⇒ Binding will be completed automatically.

[MN model] When the throttle is operated forward and backward in reverse
Normally, pulling the trigger will move forward and pushing it will move backward, but the throttle direction may be reversed depending on the settings.
You may be able to restore normal operation by adjusting the settings in the steps below.
■ Procedure for changing throttle direction settings
1. While pressing the SETUP button, turn on the transmitter (remote control).
2. Release the SETUP button.
The transmitter will enter setup mode and the indicator will continue to double flash.
3. Press the BIND button on the left.
This reverses the throttle direction.
4. Once the setup is complete, turn off the transmitter and save the settings.

Can I replace the wheels?
The wheels can be removed and replaced.
We also offer optional parts such as tires and wheels in different colors, materials, and designs than the default ones, so please feel free to customize them and have fun.
We also recommend attaching weights to the wheels to make the ride feel even closer to the real thing.

To prevent the vehicle from rolling over
There are two main ways to make a vehicle less likely to roll over.
1. Install the wheel weight set
2. Install metal upgrade parts
1. Install the wheel weight set
The easiest and most effective method is to install a set of wheel weights.
Rollover is prevented by making the parts closer to the road surface heavier and the parts further from the road surface (higher positions) lighter.
Of all the genuine WPL custom parts, wheel weights are likely to be the most effective.
At the same time, changing to soft tires helps to absorb road surface gaps to some extent, which seems to significantly reduce rollovers caused by sudden jolts.
*This product is for C14, C24, C24-1, C34, etc. (for 4x4). Please note that it is not compatible with D12.
2. Install metal upgrade parts
The next most effective way is to incorporate metal upgrade parts.
This is intended for advanced riders, but by incorporating wheel weights you can achieve a more stable ride.
