MY BUILD VOL.3 - ENTRY NO.2

MY BUILD VOL.3 Special feature on President Wood President Wood Custom ❷ B36
Drive through the wasteland with a working vehicle and six wheels!
President Wood's B36 is based on the theme of work vehicles.
The six-wheel mechanism was a tough challenge to assemble.
This time I'm participating in My Build with a police lamp (an LED rotating light for RC cars sold by Wholesaler World) and the "Daiichi" lamp I got from a gachapon machine.
This B36 is not a finished product, but a Metal Edition (which includes a variety of upgrade parts, mainly metal parts), and is a kit that is meant to be assembled entirely by the user.
The satisfaction you will feel after completing the B36 kit, which requires a large amount of work, is sure to impress and leave you groaning in excitement.
Large truck!
Large volume of painting
The first thing that surprised me was the size.
Anyway, there's a lot to paint.
I used an airbrush to spray on my favorite gunmetal primer as a base coat, and when I finished painting the base color with a blue that I mixed myself, I was impressed with how dynamic the car was.
Struggling suspension

Assembling the six-wheel mechanism was very difficult.
Even though I followed the instructions carefully, there were many things I did wrong.
This time it was supposed to be six wheels, but there was a problem with the assembly of the rear drive gear so it ended up being four wheels.
Since the assembly was so difficult, it was also difficult to disassemble and reassemble it , but I managed to reassemble it properly and applied a generous amount of DULO multi-grease so that it would function properly for a long time without any maintenance.
Combined with the effect of the grease, when we checked the operation after assembly, all six wheels were moving dramatically more smoothly.
It's fun even if you're not good at it.
Creating an atmosphere with details
Search for work vehicles online and find the vehicle you like.
From there, I let my imagination run wild and try to create a vehicle that I think would be fun.
Although I'm still terrible at masking, I wanted to paint the bumper yellow and black with tiger stripes.
Being a military vehicle, it had some long, pointed object attached to it, but I painted this in Tamiya's bright red and finished it to look like a traffic cone of an unrealistic length.
The addition of red makes it look more like construction work.

Add the electric lights and the construction vehicle is complete!

Attach two commercially available police lights and a large "First" light in the middle, and your very own construction vehicle will be complete.
I followed YOUTUBE's instructions on how to organize the wires, and used the MR-01 mini router to drill holes and neatly organize them.
This time we also cut under the dashboard to ensure a wiring route.
The B36 is just huge!
Concept Car Recommendation
It has six wheels with leaf springs and a trunnion mechanism in the rear, just like a real car. It's a tough vehicle with a very smooth ride and lots of sexy features.
This is an interesting kit that seems like it could be used to make anything by using the box in the back as something.
It could be opened to the side to create living space, turning it into a car for camping so you can travel anywhere, or conversely, it could be fun to remove the box and instead create a cargo bed that looks more like a truck and can be used to carry long items like lumber.
Even after finishing making one, the fantasies don't stop...
This may be what is commonly referred to as a swamp.
I thought I would continue to cherish this car and, if any good ideas came to mind, I'd try my hand at making my own concept car again.
